Park & Laneway

Honouring
the city’s rich
heritage &
natural beauty

Bendigo is a proud city, with strong traditions of craftsmanship displayed in the stately homes and civic buildings that date back to the 19th century.

Kosoloff Architecture has drawn inspiration from this heritage, with stone masonry translated into contemporary concrete and traditional, wrought iron lace work expressed as delicate shade screens. On the ground floor, a new laneway, reminiscent of traditional forecourts, welcomes residents and visitors, while a new park, comprising a mixture of citrus trees, herb gardens and lawns, is a charming green space to enjoy the sunshine in the centre of town.

“We asked ourselves, ‘What does a new idea for Bendigo look like?’ Our answer was to create elevated homes, light filled, contemporary offices and an active ground level space that connects people with each other.”
